1971 Suzuki T350
Our latest project is this lovely little 1971 Suzuki T350 2 stroke motorcycle. This bike will be fully stripped down and restored to immaculate original condition. This bike has been freshly imported from the United States but looks like its spent the majority of its life being ridden around a field in Colorado. There will be a few parts to source like original exhausts a centre stand and a front fender etc and there will be lots of work ahead with this challenging restoration.

1971 Suzuki T350
Update 1 - The T350 is well on its way to being completely stripped and the engine is now ready to split the crankcase apart. Upon removing the Cylinder head we discovered the right hand side of the engine was completely seized which took some persuading to free off. A centre stand has now been found and is on its way so we can then prepare the chassis to send away for powder coating. while we continue with the engine build.

HBR Yamaha FZR600R Streetfighter racer
In 2010 we at HBR built and prepared a non running 1991 Honda CBR600FM for Streetfighters magazine and Richie raced within the televised Thundersport GB Streetfighter series. He successfully took 3rd in the series leaving many folk wondering how he managed it? We have recently acquired a Yamaha FZR600R which we are preparing for the 2013 Streetfighter series. Please pop back regular to see pics and details following the strip down and rebuild. The plans include uprated suspension, a HBR race tuned engine and to build the machine with only racing in mind so nothing more than what is needed will be put back on the bike..

Yamaha FZS600
Jon's Yamaha FZS600 Fazer. 2000 model.
This bike will be a rolling project for the shop as Jon will be using it day to day. It was a category C right off which has been put back on the road and requires a bit of attention.
Jobs to do on the bike include painting of the rear seat panel, The fuel tank has a good sized dent on the left hand side which will be repaired and the fairing has a crack and a hole so we will be keeping our eyes open for a replacement. The fork legs are starting to pit slightly so these will be rubbed back and painted. The wheels will be painted to a lovely gold colour along with all the brake calipers. The exhaust headers may be replaced with a full stainless steel system Footrest hangers will be highly polished. A jack up kit for the rear shock will raise the back end by 25mm giving it a more aggressive look. As for the brakes, all brake lines will be replaced with Braided hoses and wavy disks will be installed front and rear. As Jon will be using this bike for a spot of touring and to the Isle of Man for the TT in June a Rear sports luggage rack will be installed. Plenty of other ideas are in mind for this particular bike but first things first, a full Service is called for, including air and oil filter some nice fresh oil and some Platinum NGK spark plugs just to get the show on the road.

Fazer Update 1
The Fazer has now had its service, including some lovely NGK Iridium spark plugs. The exhaust and radiator were removed and the engine was rubbed back then it had a coat of primer and a lovely gloss black spray job. In the mean time some new Motad exhaust headers were delivered and installed as the standard items were past there best and not worth the time and effort to refurbish them. The radiator was installed with a really nice Stainless Steel radiator guard. Check out the pic below.
Next we will install the new braided brake lines which will massively improve the braking performance.

Fazer Update 3
The Fazer is now back on the road after a refresh and paint including the engine and forks. It has been fitted with a set of HEL Braided brake lines for ultimate stopping power and has had a major clean up. It has now been jacked up on the rear suspension by 40mm giving it a much more aggresive look and great handling to boot, this was provided by a nice bit of kit from Projection Components 4 point riser kit. We have installed a new seat cover with silver piping to stand out from the crowd. More updates to come.
HBR CB500 Special
Honda CB500 1997
As we at HBR have a long association with the Honda CB500 we decided that there would be no better way to show what we can do than to build the ultimate CB. Having won several Championships with these fantastic little bikes we certainly know how to build them.
This bike will be a frame up build to show stopping specifications and the build has already started.
Check back for updates and photos.
